Mirror Mirror on the Wall… who is the very best Pantomime Dame of all?!…. Why its DEAN SULLIVAN OF COURSE!!

Due to personal reasons, Ted Robbins will no longer be available to appear as Dame in this year’s Stockport panto but is very much hoping to see everyone next year, therefore with a bit of Panto Magic we are delighted to announce that DEAN SULLIVAN has accepted the role and will be joining us this festive season to perform as NURSE GLUCOSE in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS at THE STOCKPORT PLAZA from FRIDAY 4th DECEMBER 2015 to SUNDAY 10th JANUARY 2016

Dean was born and educated in Liverpool. He trained as a teacher before changing careers. Dean made his professional acting debut at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre in 1984 in On The Razzle, Wild Oats, Cowardy Custard and Musical Revue. Since then he has appeared in many UK theatres notably The Liverpool Playhouse, Bolton Octagon and the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield. Dean recently toured the UK in Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads series playing Graham in A Chip in the Sugar.

Dean is perhaps best known for playing loveable rogue Jimmy Corkhill in Channel 4’s flagship soap, BROOKSIDE, a role he played for 18 years. For his portrayal of Jimmy, Dean won several Best Actor Awards and a special achievement Gold Award at the British Soap Awards.
