Stockport Schools’ Brass Bands (SSBB) were formed in 1978 and this year celebrate 40 years. SSBB has three bands with members from 5 to 18. Many past members go on to be professional musicians, playing with top bands and orchestras.
To celebrate the Anniversary past members of SSBB are reuniting. This promises to be a wonderful evening of music with talented musicians coming together to play in the Reunion Band. The evening will start with a performance from the current bands with the finale of the evening being a massed piece with 100 bandspeople on stage. This really is a concert not to be missed.
