SSBB – Stockport Schools’ Brass Bands

Stockport Schools’ Brass Bands (SSBB) were formed in 1978 and this year celebrate 45 years SSBB has three bands with members from 5 to 18. Many past members go on to be professional musicians, playing with some of the top brass bands and orchestras.

To celebrate the 45th Anniversary past members of SSBB are reuniting. This promises to be a wonderful evening of music with some of the top brass players in Stockport and beyond coming together to play in the Reunion Band.

The evening will start with a performance from the current bands, with the finale of the evening being a massed band piece with over 100 players taking part.

This really is a concert not to be missed.
