John Altman returns to The Plaza to star as the truly ‘Nasty’ Captain Hook in Peter Pan


Stockport’s iconic 1932 Art Deco Super Cinema and Variety Theatre has become the home of sensational family pantomime since it was saved from potential demolition just over 15 short years ago and with capacity houses, we have become part of the regions festive tradition welcoming the very best stars of stage and screen to appear in this yule tide tradition that the entire family can enjoy.

We are delighted to announce that JOHN ALTMAN known to millions of television fans as ‘Nasty’ Nick Cotton in Eastenders along with his extensive career in television and on stage who previously appeared at The Plaza in 2012 in the box office panto smash ‘Aladdin’ will be returning this festive season to play the truly ‘NASTY’ CAPTAIN HOOK in this year’s magnificent family pantomime production PETER PAN produced and directed at The Plaza by Extravaganza Productions.

Along with a fantastic supporting cast, stunning sets and sparkling costumes The Plaza once again will be the home of family pantomime entertainment this Christmas….oh yes it is!!

Peter Pan runs from Friday 2nd December until Sunday 8th January and tickets can be purchased now on the what’s on section of this web site.
