All The Fun of The Summer Fayre

Roll Up Roll Up all the fun of The Plaza Summer Fayre!

At 11.00am on Saturday 16th July during this our 90th Birthday year the doors were opened on a Fundraising Summer Fayre organised by our magnificent Everlyn supported by our Award Winning Volunteers and Team who set up Stalls, Games and Beverage stands within our magnificent Art Deco venue for everyone to enjoy.

As guests entered The Plaza they were met by a bunting bedecked Auditorium, costumed team and a wealth of Stalls including the ever popular Tombola, Books, Crafts and Jewellery stands and not forgetting Stanleys Pet Emporium which was set up on behalf a fabulous supportive Dog called Stanley who donated toys and pet ephemera to the proceedings.

A treasure hunt guaranteed that Familys had a fabulous time investigating the building and finding our Facepainting Stall hosted by the very talented ‘Looks By Liberty’, Sensational Games supplied by Heatons’ Men In Sheds, our Peaky Bowlers Games Room, the ‘Selfie’ room filled with costumes and even a backstage heritage Cafe.

The day was an absolute triumph and our wonderful team raised fabulous funds for the ongoing Plaza Maintenance and Restoration Appeal so a HUGE Thank you to all of our magnificent Plaza Team and also THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and supported this superb event.
