Lockdown and our ongoing Maintenance and Restoration – 2021

As the world headed into Lockdown key projects which included the commencement of restoration of the Plaza promenade gallery murals, auditorium and roof works all drew to an end and were put on hold pending the re-opening of The Plaza.

During Lockdown, works certainly didnt end as the venue was monitored closely and maintained during her closure by General Manager – Ted Doan and Technical Manager – Rosie Holdaway who ensured the Plaza with her long interval of closure was able to raise her curtain on her reopening day with repaired plaster work, carpeting and many other projects that would have been scheduled in over the next few years.

The Plaza once again with your support can resume her ongoing restoration and maintenance schedule which is enabled by the generosity of you and all of our supporters so thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing support which is so very much appreciated.
