Pin Up Pete has a Modtastic time at The Plaza!

As the roar of beautifully tuned engines filled the air in the heart of Stockport town centre and the gleam of chrome and impeccably maintained paintwork glinted in the early evening sun, ‘Pin Up Pete’ our Operations Manager knew that countdown had begun to this evenings screening of the 18 certificate, 1979 release feature film Quadrophenia.

Peter organised for a fleet of stunning Vespas and Lambrettas to join us from across the region to create a stunning display infront of The Plaza Super Cinema and Variety Theatre which caused an amazing stir of interest and enhanced yet another of our superb classic feature films shown in their correct ratio on the giant silver screen where they truly belong.

A huge thank you to the owners of the fleet of scooters that now grace the facade of our magnificent venue and our very own Pin Up Pete looks positively ‘modtastic’ amongst these head turning vehicles!…
