Restoration Update – 29.03.15

As we head into Spring our very own ‘spring cleaning’ of our magnificent staircase has come on leaps and bounds with the restoration of our terrazzo clad staircase by the experts from Tile Master Global Limited who were awarded the contract to clean and restore the treads and landings which lead guests through The Plaza.

The comparisons are astounding with years of deep staining removed from the terrazzo flooring to show the beautiful creamy white gleam of our main staircase which leads from our Stalls Foyer on the ground floor up to the summit of The Plaza Super Cinema and Variety Theatre balcony entrance.

With repairs, deep cleansing and specialist future cleans our wonderful staircase is on schedule to be restored to her opening day glory and can be enjoyed by generations of future guests to our much loved award winning art deco gem as they make their way to their seats to see the very best in Big Screen or Live Stage entertainment or to join us in the sumptuous surroundings of our Cafe Restaurant.
