This is The Plaza Calling!….On The Wireless VE Day Event Takes to the internet airwaves

During the closure of our venue due to the Coronavirus shut down, the glorious Plaza is still working alongside and communicating with her supportive community through regular social media updates with the very welcome interaction that this provides and then on Friday 8th May at 4.00pm we shall be taking part in a very special online Zoom event entitled ‘On The Wireless’ to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day that will be FREE to attend for anyone who is able to join us!

With an open invitation to join this Free event from 4pm, particpants can enjoy an Afternoon of Chat talking about memories and fascinating facts about the War years which will be hosted by The Zebra Partnership and will include input from Gillian Mawson who is an Historian and Author, Phil Catling a local Historian, Archeologist and Underground Specialist alongside our very own General Manager Ted Doan (aka Prince Teddie Charming of Stockport)
