Internationally acclaimed musician Aaron Hawthorne is returning to the Plaza for the third year running with another unmissable silent film experience.
Hawthorne will be live-improvising his musical score to the 100-year-old silent epic “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (Cert PG) performing on the Plaza’s unique Compton pipe organ.
Lon Chaney’s brilliant portrayal of Quasimodo and the film’s timeless tale of love, loyalty, and sacrifice will leave viewers spellbound while Hawthorne masters the dynamic versatility of the instrument which can whisper notes that make your hairs stand on edge or shake the entire building. Don’t miss this intense immersive experience, taking you back to the early golden days of the moving picture.
