The Green Room At The Plaza: Lakshmi Hariprasad

Lakshmi began learning to play acoustic guitar in the spring of 2020, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Within 18 months she had written and performed her first original song on the Stockport open mic night circuit. She has since written more original music, many inspired by life events and, in September 2025 she released her first single Road Most Travelled, which lead to ongoing collaborations with other musicians she has met at gigs and open mics. She performs regularly in and around Stockport and loves the vibrant local music scene.

She lives in Stockport with her husband and dog.
